Brack-Case FAQs (printed version of this page >)
Cleaning
You can clean your Brack-Case with normal detergent. Heavily soiled cases can be cleaned using a little alcohol, acetone or petrol. Do not use any abrasive agents or sharp tools!
Adjusting your Brack-Case
To make sure your precious instrument cannot move around in its case, pay attention to the following points:
If the instrument tips sideways, remove the bridge holder and replace it rather lower.
If the instrument moves to and fro between bridge holder and throat block, we supply a foam block with self-holding material on both sides, This is inserted between the bridge holder and the case or at the throat block. You can easily do this yourself.
Repairs
All fittings except the grip are screw-mounted and replaceable. All spare parts are in stock and deliverable worldwide at all times.

Cracks in the case can be repaired in our works. Normally they do not penetrate right through, and are only on the surface. They may look bad, but they are not serious. They will not make your case leak or break.
Dents
Dents caused by impacts are not structural damage. The soft foam core of your cello case damps out impacts and the dents caused usually disappear again. Deep dents can be warmed with a hairdryer to help them disappear (not too hot - otherwise the paint will be softened!). Another way of getting rid of dents is to leave your case in the sun from time to time (not too long!).
Delivery
We either send cases by post or use a professional shipping service. Unless otherwise indicated, all prices are without post or shipping charges.
